The Arava Desert | Israel in Colours Collection
Inspired by the sweeping beauty of Israel's Arava Desert, this original acrylic painting captures the vast open landscapes, rugged mountain ranges and striking contrasts of one of the country's most remarkable regions through a bold, contemporary abstract design.
Featuring a distinctive palette of soft peach, warm earthy browns, dusty blues, deep navy and rich green, with unexpected accents of turquoise and vibrant yellow, The Arava Desert transforms the natural landscape into a striking composition of geometric shapes and carefully balanced blocks of colour.
Part of Em Lewin Art's Israel in Colours collection, this artwork explores a unique way of bringing real Israeli landscapes to life through contemporary abstraction. Rather than recreating every natural detail, the painting strips the landscape back to its essential forms, using sharp angles, clean lines and carefully constructed shapes to create depth, perspective and dimension.
The composition captures the dramatic contrast between the Arava's towering desert mountains, sun-drenched earth and pockets of green vegetation. Angular mountain silhouettes and layered planes of colour draw the eye across the landscape, creating a sense of distance and openness while celebrating the region's unique natural beauty.
Both bold and minimalist, The Arava Desert offers a fresh and unexpected perspective on Israel's extraordinary desert scenery. Its contemporary geometric design and distinctive colour palette make it a beautiful statement piece, bringing warmth, colour and a meaningful connection to Israel into the home.
Beautifully presented in a natural pine floating frame, this one-of-a-kind artwork is ready to hang and enjoy.
