Kibbutz Sde Boker

Kibbutz Sde Boker | Israel in Colours Collection

Inspired by the extraordinary landscape of Kibbutz Sde Boker in Israel's Negev Desert, this original acrylic painting captures the meeting of rugged mountains, open desert and agricultural land through a bold, contemporary abstract design.

Featuring a beautiful palette of soft peach, dusty pink, lavender, deep burgundy and earthy greens against a pale blue sky, Kibbutz Sde Boker transforms the natural landscape into a striking composition of geometric shapes and carefully balanced blocks of colour.

Part of Em Lewin Art's Israel in Colours collection, this piece explores a unique way of bringing real Israeli landscapes to life through contemporary abstraction. Rather than recreating every detail, the artwork strips the landscape back to its essential forms, using sharp angles, clean lines and contrasting shapes to create depth and perspective.

The composition reflects the unique character of Sde Boker, a place where the vast beauty of the Negev meets the pioneering spirit of Israeli agriculture and settlement.

Beautifully presented in a distinctive painted blue pine floating frame, the artwork's colours are complemented by its bold framing, creating a contemporary statement piece that brings warmth, character and a little piece of Israel into the home.
